This wedding had it all! An emotional groom, gorgeous well-behaved children, fabulous bridesmaids, a very talented mother of the bride, beautiful flowers, a wedding cake made by an up and coming 16 year-old baker, a musician and of course a very beautiful bride.
The event was held at The Wood Norton, in Evesham - such an amazing venue, the staff were so kind and nothing seemed too much trouble, even down to the receptionist who dashed off to get plasters when I rather dramatically ripped my thumbnail off. The grounds are fabulous and we were able to get some lovely photos in spite of the weather being a little dull, luckily the rain stopped well before the ceremony.
The excitement started early on with preparations for the girls, Millie at Style Lounge, Birmingham did the make-up for everyone and hair for bridesmaids. Emma's very talented mum did Emma and the flower girl's hair as well as making the most beautiful hessian keepsake bags for the bridesmaids. A very special touch was a teddy made in hessian with some special words for Emma, such a beautiful and thoughtful present from a mum to her girl.
Emma looked utterly stunning in her dress from Justin Alexander from The Dressing Room in Halesowen. She wore some beautiful Clogau Welsh gold jewellery that Gareth had given her as a wedding present. Shoes were from my favourite place, Irregular Choice, they never fail to amaze! The little boys outfits were from Next with the 'big boys' outfits from the ever popular Moss Bros. The flowers were by Rose and Grace in Badsey and lasted the rigors of the day looking stunning well into the evening
The ceremony was full of emotion, starting when Emma and Gareth's little boy Harri tottered up the aisle with the flower girls to see his dad waiting nervously....tears were shed (I love a crying groom!), Emma made a grand entrance with her dad, she looked amazing, beautifully composed and elegant, just as a bride should be.
The reception started with music from Dan Greenaway who is a regional and national winner for The Wedding Industry Awards 2017. He set the mood nicely with a selection of music and special requests whilst he walked amongst the guests. The evening ceremony commenced with the cutting of the fabulous cake by the very talented 16 year old Ben Carlton-Grey. Then the first dance followed by some after-dark photos in the magnificent grounds of The Wood Norton Hotel. We even managed an unexpected sunset photo.
Here are just a few of my favourite photos from the day. If you would like me to capture memories of your special day please get in touch, I'd love to hear from you!
