As a professional U.K. wedding photographer I have the pleasure of visiting a lot of venues. As I'm usually there to capture someone's fabulous wedding it means I'm there for a very long time (12 hour days are the norm) and get to experience all the good things about so many wedding venues. I thought it would be helpful to blog about a few of my favourites....
I'm starting close to home with the very beautiful Clevedon Hall, in North Somerset. Advertised as the South West's most magical wedding venue it really does deliver on this promise - I love it there! There are beautiful bedrooms to get ready for your wedding in, a sweeping staircase to make your grand entrance, the grounds are fabulous all year round...I could go on about it however just have a look at some of these photos from a wedding in February and you'll get a flavour of what I mean.
One of it's best selling points for me is that unlike a hotel, or many other venues, you can have the whole house, and the grounds, exclusively to yourselves. There’s no sharing with other guests and their whole team is entirely focused on making your day everything you could wish for.
I'm back in December for a very special couple who I recommended Clevedon Hall too...they loved it too and I can't wait to capture the day for them along with some Christmas sparkle!
